By using Scanner you agree to the following.
Not for emergencies
This site is a hobby and public interest service. It is not monitored, it is not an official source, and it can fall behind, go silent or be wrong without warning. If you need help, call your local emergency number. Never rely on this site to find out whether a situation is safe.
Accuracy
Audio is published as received. Transcripts are produced automatically by speech recognition and are frequently wrong, especially about names, numbers and addresses. Unit and talkgroup names come from public listings and from automatic matching and may be mislabelled. Nothing here is a record of what an agency said or did.
Lawful use
Laws on listening to and using radio communications differ by place. You are responsible for making sure your use of this site is lawful where you are. Do not use anything here to interfere with emergency services, to harass anyone, or to commit or help commit an offence.
Fair use of the service
Listening and searching is free. Please do not bulk-download the archive, scrape the site, or hammer the API; that slows it down for everyone and may get your address blocked. If you want data for research, ask at the site operator.
Content and availability
Scanner may remove recordings, add delays, hide talkgroups, or take the site down at any time, with or without notice. The service is provided as is, without any warranty, and Scanner is not liable for any loss arising from its use or unavailability.
